GetResponse or Aweber? Which is Best For List Building?

I have been blogging since the beginning of this year, but I’ve recently understood the importance of using an email platform to build an active email list. If you?re a passionate blogger like me, then you might have known the tactic to target and pull visitors through the valuable content.

However, do you know how to make the first-time visitors come back regularly? Along with the helpful data, if we amaze the new blog visitors through the landing page and opt-in forms, they will never hesitate to subscribe to our email list. Do you agree with my viewpoint in getting loyal readers?

Likewise, if we have the email address of our blog visitors, we can send them customized information directly to their mailbox. The more personalized blog data you send them, the more they build up their trust in you.

If you send your priceless blog updates to your email subscribers in a consistent manner, they will engage with your fresh content and help you get exposure by sharing it on their network. This is relationship building and you can progress your brand awareness with it.

GetResponse Vs AweberI hope that you’ve recognized the importance of collecting the email contacts of your blog visitors and sending out the updates. Let’s get into an in-depth discussion to opt the best email marketing platform and here I’ve chosen the two biggies, GetResponse and Aweber to compare the key features.

GetResponse Vs Aweber! Which is better to get more subscribers?

Both GetResponse and Aweber offer a free trial for 30 days. To use the free version of Aweber, you have to provide your Credit card details and pay a specific amount (If you are not satisfied with the service, you can claim your money back within 30 days).

GetResponse Free Trial

Unlike Aweber, the signup process is simple in GetResponse, and you don’t need to pay & give your card details to use its free version for 30 days.

2. Set up Process & Optin-forms

In GetResponse, you have to create a new campaign and edit its settings before you move forward in adding the contact or doing anything else. After customizing the campaign settings, you may add your contacts. Also, setting up of opt-in forms is somewhat complicated.

You will get the easy setting options in Aweber and they are the straightforward, step-by-step process as well. Just you need to add the basic information, go to the personalization settings and finally customize your confirmation settings. Here, embedding the opt-ins on the blog is easy than GetResponse

3. List Importing

Sometimes, you may have to collect email contacts of your visitors from other services. List importing can be easily done in GetResponse and those contacts don?t need to opt-in again.

However, in Aweber, if you import your list from other sources, they have to opt-in again to be on your list to receive your blog updates. Thus, you may lose your potential subscribers when you import list from other services.

Champion : GetResponse

4. Autoresponder

To automate your email marketing, you can make use of the autoresponders of email services. You can trigger the autoresponder of GetResponse for a specific event and enable the ?Time Travel? option to send your emails at the subscriber?s local time. In addition, you can do split testing and segmentation task in this autoresponder to get better results.

GetResponse Autoresponder

The autoresponder of Aweber is uncomplicated, but it is greatly missing some advanced features and boast unclear layout as well.

5. Analytics

GetResponse gives clear-cut reports through graphs for your list, new subscriptions and unsubscribes. Moreover, you can check who have opened your email, who haven?t and who clicked on the link with its detailed stats. Furthermore, you can include the metrics like goal conversion, social share stats, Email ROI and few more in the Email Analytics of GetResponse.

GetResponse Analytics

Even though Aweber can give the in-depth analytics of your email marketing campaign, they seemed complicated and not in a user-friendly way.

Champion : GetResponse
